Set within a premium commercial tower in Sydney CBD, this commercial lobby project has been designed as a calm, highly resolved arrival space where natural stone plays a defining role in shaping the experience. The use of custom Midnight Granite establishes a strong and cohesive foundation throughout the lobby, lift areas and circulation zones, balancing durability with refined architectural detailing.
From the moment of entry, the material palette works in harmony with light, volume and architectural form, creating a commercial environment that feels both substantial and considered.
Stone as the Foundation of Atmosphere
Some spaces use stone as a finishing touch. At Bar La Salut, it was the starting point.
Lamond Projects selected a crazy paving blend of Silver Ash, Classic and Noce Travertine to define the tone for this Spanish-style wine bar in Redfern, Sydney. The result is a commercial hospitality space that feels both grounded and atmospheric, with natural stone providing the foundation for the interior experience.
The irregular shapes and natural variation across three travertine tones create a depth and warmth that a uniform tile simply cannot replicate. Up close, each piece reveals its own character; across the space, they come together as one.
Located in Artarmon on Sydney’s Lower North Shore, this showroom transformation reimagines the display of premium natural stone within a refined architectural setting. The project was designed to highlight the versatility of natural stone across paving, wall cladding and architectural finishes, creating an immersive environment where designers, architects and homeowners can experience the materials in a real-world context.
Through carefully curated stone surfaces and detailed installations, the showroom demonstrates how natural stone can shape contemporary landscaping and architectural design. Large-format stone paving, textured wall cladding and feature stone elements are presented together to showcase the depth, colour variation and craftsmanship inherent in high-quality natural stone.
The result is a thoughtfully designed space that functions both as a showroom and as a source of inspiration for residential and architectural projects throughout Sydney. Each surface and material installation reflects the enduring beauty, durability and design flexibility of natural stone.
