Based in ‘The Shire’ in Sydney’s southern suburbs landscapers Tom Cole and Craig Lowe from Authentic Landscapes and Design cherish the opportunity to give homeowners the beautiful yet practical outdoor spaces they crave.

Building brand new outdoor areas or revamping existing ones is always a thrill knowing that they can add value to their clients’ lifestyles and homes.

This was true of a job Tom and Craig completed in 2016 at Lilli Pilli providing a whole new outlook to the back area of this property. A combination of classic travertine, for the pool surrounds and spillway, stone cladding on the retaining walls, spotted gum decking with floating timber seat and lush foliage was designed to provide a sub-tropical oasis for the owners of this suburban backyard.

They have just revisited the job to see how its looking almost 12 months on. Whilst the hard surfaces were impressive from Day 1, the plants have now grown, providing plenty of ambience and privacy.
